We are conscious of the effect our methods have on our ability to actively practice sustainability, we choose to operate with sustainable practice where possible and will continue to incorporate further sustainable practices where available.

Our sustainability plan

We offer eco-friendly products which are easier to recycle. Where possible our materials have recycled content best for purpose, we use recycled packaging and operate a recyclable materials program.

Enables our clients to benefit from using high efficiency luminaires for their specific lighting source needs whilst maintaining quality of light.  The careful selection of luminaires specific to the application can greatly affect the level of CO2 emissions and offer increasing energy efficiency and savings.

In addition, when incorporating control systems, motion and daylight harvesting sensors with dimmable ballasts clients can achieve further significant efficiency.

Recyclable materials program

Edison Lighting Group Ltd participates in voluntary recycling and disposal of products returned to us at the end of life.

Ballasts and lamps are returned to the manufacturers who complete their own recycling processes and handle the component materials in a responsible manner adhering to agreed standards.

Metal waste material is recycled using a wide range of collection programs.
